Dr. Sibirtsev born in Estonia and raised in Israel, Dr. Sibirtsev moved to New York as a teenager. It is there that she later earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College and then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Sibirtsev then completed her dental residency at the prestigious NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she was an ER resident on call for level 1 trauma and performed oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS). She also completed an externship at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Her hospital experience included operating on and repairing deep and superficial broken facial bones, completing surgical extractions for patients with oral cancer, providing full dental exams for special needs patients under sedation and more.
During her time at New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Sibirtsev was among the 5% of students selected as a teaching assistant in restorative dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sibirtsev enjoys hiking and biking with her husband, Yuri, and their rescue dog, Sylvester. She enjoys music and dancing and is learning indoor rock climbing and roller skating. Dr. Sibirtsev loves the beach culture, warm climate and friendly people of Newport News.
