Meet The Dentists
Dr. Hartman
Dr. Hartman brings over two decades of clinical expertise to her private practice, specializing in family and cosmetic dentistry. Since 2015, she has been serving the Newport News community, providing a broad range of dental services and emphasizing compassionate and individualized care. Dr. Hartman completed her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She also pursued a PhD in Restorative Dentistry and an advanced course in Implant Dentistry at Paulista State University in São Paulo, Brazil. Her commitment to advancing her skills led her to the University of Maryland, where she completed further postgraduate training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. In 2014, the University of Maryland honored Dr. Hartman with the Award of Clinical Excellence in General Dentistry.
Known for her skill and empathy, Dr. Hartman is dedicated to building strong patient relationships. She understands that each patient is unique and values their trust in her and her team, which drives her commitment to exceptional care.
Dr. Sibirtsev
Born in Estonia and raised in Israel, Dr. Sibirtsev moved to New York as a teenager. There, she later earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Sibirtsev then completed her dental residency at the prestigious NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she served as an ER resident on call for Level 1 trauma and performed oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS). She also completed an externship at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
Her hospital experience included operating on and repairing deep and superficial facial bone fractures, performing surgical extractions for patients with oral cancer, providing comprehensive dental exams for special needs patients under sedation, and more.
During her time at the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Sibirtsev was among the top 5% of students selected to serve as a teaching assistant in restorative dentistry.
When she’s not caring for patients, you can find Dr. Sibirtsev hiking and biking with her husband, Yuri, and their rescue dog, Sylvester. She enjoys music and dancing and is currently learning indoor rock climbing and roller skating. Dr. Sibirtsev loves the beach culture, warm climate, and friendly people of Newport News.
Dr. Kisley Romano
Dr. Kisley Romano was born in Los Angeles, CA, and moved to Cali, Colombia, at the age of two to live with her mother’s family.
With over 12 years of experience as a dentist, Dr. Romano was voted 2023 Dentist of the Year in Newport News. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from West Virginia University and is a member of the American Dental Association. She has resided in the Hampton Roads area since 2020.
Dr. Romano loves all of her patients, but she especially enjoys working with children. In her spare time, you can find her camping with her family, gardening, canning peppers, and cooking Colombian and Italian cuisine.
